As company policy goes, I was asked to leave immediately. Comforted only by the fact that a handful of very senior executives were also laid off that day, I packed up my desk, grabbed my kids photos and artwork and left, without time for goodbyes.

Lets face it, this week is the last authentic week of working out and staying balanced that well have until January 2, 2010. Lets make the most of it! Because we know that starting next week the war we all wage on weight loss is over for the year- there is no more losing weight-just hopefully maintaining it (or only gaining 2-3 pounds).
