Not too long ago a client picked up a copy of my book, Complete Without Kids: An Insiders Guide to Childfree Living by Choice or by Chance, at the local bookstore. I saw her a couple of weeks later, and she shared with dismay that her teenage son had confiscated the book and was enjoying reading it. She added that she hoped he wouldnt get any ideas from the book, because she is so much looking forward to being a grandmother. I didnt really know how to respond to her comments.

Rehab has become the new buzz word around Hollywood these past few years. It seems like almost every star has gone to rehab for some kind of addiction. Of course, addiction is a very serious thing and I dont want to minimize the importance of rehab, I just think that going to rehab seems like the go-to solution for a troubled celebritys career — whether they have a legitimate addiction or not. Lindsay Lohan was recently released from her court-ordered stint in rehab. This made me think back to all the celebrities weve heard of going to rehab over the years. Did the rehab help their addictions? How has their stint in rehab affected their personal lives and their careers?
