RECALL: Hoover Upright Vacuum Cleaners

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of the Hoover® WindTunnel T-Series™ Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaners with Cord Rewind Feature. The recall affects approximately 108,000 units.

The power cord cannot properly be pulled loose from the cord rewind system. This poses fire and shock hazards. Hoover has received reports of burned carpets and burned hands.

Here are the recalled vacuum model numbers: UH70110, UH70120, UH70200, UH70205, UH70210.
