Ginger and Carrot Weight Loss Smoothie

As Moms, we’ve all been there before. Most of us are all too familiar with those days when we just don’t feel light and energetic– and instead we feel tired, heavy and puffy.   That’s why we created this smoothie– it’s perfect for getting back on track quickly so you can feel your best!

On the outside this smoothie helps to keep you looking lean, while on the inside it helps to keep you satisfied with its’ protein and fiber so that you don’t end up ravenous later in the day, preventing you from overeating at your next meal. This low calorie bev (pssst… it’s only 150 calories!) is packed with beta-carotene to give your skin a beautiful hue on the outside, while protecting it from the damage of the sun at a less surface level. So take a sip for a great snack or light breakfast!

Ginger and Carrot Weight Loss Smoothie

2 Servings

Ingredients

1 medium Gala Apple (cored and cut roughly into 1/-2 inch chunks. Don’t worry about cutting precisely, the pieces will be blended anyways! )

½ cup Carrot Juice (we used Bolthouse Farms)

½ cup Cantaloupe, cubes

1 cup Greek Yogurt, plain, non-fat

1 tsp ginger, fresh

Directions

Using a blender, mix the carrot juice, cantaloupe, and yogurt. Add in and thoroughly mix the apple slices and ginger. Pour into two glasses and enjoy!
