Bacon Wrapped Corn on the Cob and Brie Cheese Corn

This 4th of July, make sure you have the best menu possible with this amazing recipe(s) for corn on the cob, with a twist! This dish will be the talk of the party, I promise. Everything is better with bacon, right? Right.

Here are two creative ways to make an ordinary side dish even more delicious:

Bacon Wrapped Corn on the Cob

Ingredients

  • Ears of corn, husked
  • Olive oil spray
  • Bacon strips
  • Aluminum foil

Directions

Take your ear of corn, and spritz a little bit of olive oil spray on it,  so the ingredients will stick to the corn. Take your favorite type of bacon – turkey bacon, thicker, thinner – whatever you want.

Wrap the corn with each strip, most will go around twice.

Wrap it all up super tight in tinfoil and grill on high heat – 10 minutes on each side, then 40 minutes on low heat

Vegetarian Option

For vegetarians – try making Brie cheese corn. It’s so easy! Just take some brie cheese and smear it on the corn like butter. Coat it entirely. Tip – if your cheese is room temperature, it will be easier to spread. Wrap it in tin foil, and give it 45 minutes on the grill on low heat.
