Forget the Super Bowl, for Kevin and Danielle Jonas, February 2nd was a super night for an entirely different reason!
The couple welcomed their first child on Sunday – and the proud papa didn’t hesitate to share the news on Twitter.
“Here we go we’re pushing!!!! #babyjonas,” he tweeted early that morning. A few hours later, the new parents announced the birth of their daughter through Dreft laundry detergent (yes, you heard that right).
“On this day, a little star was born. Meet Alena Rose Jonas. #BabyJonas,” the brand tweeted, along with a mother-daughter photo.

Kevin and Danielle, who met in 2007 while on vacation with their respective families in the Bahamas, tied the knot at a winter wedding in 2009.
In recent months, the 26-year-old singer (and former Jonas Brothers star) has been vocal about his excitement for his impending “Daddy days.”
“I’m excited for the days I can just spend with her by myself,” he told Us Weekly. “I want to take her to not typical little girlie things. I want to go to baseball games with her. Even just time at home — me and her one-on-one while [Danielle] goes to the grocery store or out with her friends. Something to give her a break too. She deserves it.”
