Right now, we’re transitioning from summer to fall, one of my favorite seasons for fashion.
Color trends for this autumn will be turned up a notch with emerald greens, deep sky blues, mauves and rich burgundy , as well as khaki and soft tones of grey. Fall fashion is all about having fun, being comfortable and looking fabulous!
Wardrobe
It’s a delicious season, full of all the earth’s natural tones. For example, try pairing a touch of ivory or soft pink with bold shades of chocolate brown. Some style trends have already kicked off at Anne Michelle Boutique with coated leather skinny jeans, cozy fitted knits and cashmere ponchos.
Make-up
Make-up color palettes change from smoky lilacs and browns to golden rusts and greys. Go for sultry and sophisticated – a deep red lipstick is always on trend for fall, giving you that irresistible pop of color!
Hair
This season’s hot hair color trends are shifting from one shade to multi-shades, with warmer toned lowlights and highlights. Brunettes look fabulous with golden shades around the face. Redheads look divine with warm brown undertones, and blondes are beautiful with shades of brown. All gorgeous and very on trend this season!
Kid’s Fashion
For little girls, this fall’s must-have color is emerald green, so they can match Mommy. Think knits, coats and dresses in jewel tones. Faux fur jackets and vests are a favorite of mine for the little ones – paired with skinny jeans and cute booties, adorable! For the boys, I love a denim shirt paired with khaki pants and a pair of high tops. Another stylish favorite – skinny jeans with a striped top, waist coat and scarf. Boys must have: padded body warmer! Definitely trending this season.
Accessories
The accessory for moms and kids for fall is… the bag! For moms – leather or canvas totes, emerald green, red, navy, black or leopard print. For girls – patterned backpacks, pinks with browns, or bold turquoise and reds. For boys – camo backpacks are or bold earth tone duffle bags.
