ModernMom Recipes: Breakfast Shakes for the Whole Family
I do not believe that anyone should skip breakfast EVER! Honestly, I stumble to the coffee pot each morning and have no appetite for food while I am rushing to get myself and my kids ready and out the door. However, I make it a point for all of us to start our day right and set us on our healthy way every day.
I keep a pitcher of water on my bedside table, and down 8 ounces every morning, first thing when I rise.
When I have my healthy a.m. shake, I am not hungry all day, and it controls my cravings. Trust me, you NEED to have breakfast! I chose to drink mine, usually on-the-go. When I can get my kids to have one, I know they will have energy most of the day and not crash before recess from a lousy sugar high and/or processed meal.
I use the Bullet to blend because it’s easy to line up everyone?s shake at the same time.
