St. Patrick’s Day is on Saturday, are you getting into the festive spirit? The holiday is named for the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick, who was at one time a prisoner in Ireland. He escaped to Briton but his prophetic visions made him return to spread his faith throughout the country. March 17th is the day of his religious feast. Why all the green? It’s customary in the United States and is believed to be the favorite color of Irish faeries. So go have fun and celebrate this weekend! Here are my three favorite ways to be green:

Weddings are the place to express your beauty, especially when youre the bride. We want to celebrate our commitment in style- whether its our first trip down in the aisle or our fifth! When our mothers or grandmothers were young, a womans primary role was to get married and raise a family. The other options were considered less-than-ideal, to say the least. Only young, first-time brides wore traditional bridal regalia; everyone else was expected to marry with little fanfare, wearing a suit or simple dress.
