How to Wear High-Waisted Jeans
The 70s are back in a big way, and high-waisted jeans are very of-the-moment. This retro, wide-leg cut can be both figure flattering and elongating. (So feel free to stash away any muffin top-producing low rise denim for awhile.)
I suggest pairing high-waisted pants with a simple fitted top, tucked in, like this white tank from Beautiful People. To complete the look, pair it with a chunky heel and a layering necklace like this Peruvian opal dangle from Sable & Zac.
If the fitted top makes you uncomfortable and you prefer something loose, I suggest a shorter top so you don’t lose the elongating effect. And if statement jewelry isn’t your forte, try a printed or bright colored blouse like this cropped red blouse from Chloe. Remember people, high-waisted pants create legs for days!
