Wynonna Judd Gets Married – Doesn’t Invite Ashley & Naomi
Wynonna Judd married boyfriend Cactus Moser last weekend at her family’s farm in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee.
The 48-year-old country singer and the drummer, 55, have been dating for two and a half years. Moser popped the question this past Christmas Eve.
But two people were noticeably absent from the guest list. The bride’s half-sister actress Ashley Judd and mother Naomi Judd were not in attendance – and according to Us Weekly, the issue wasn’t geographical distance as both have homes on the expansive farm.
Wynonna is known to have a rocky relationship with her family, and she told reporters she’s “not even sure” whether Naomi and Ashley knew the wedding took place.
“Ashley’s probably so busy with [husband] Dario [Franchitti] having won the Indianapolis 500, she probably doesn’t even know,” Wynonna admitted.
She added, “We’re getting ready to sit down with our life coach and re-evaluate what we want out of this relationship . . . We just don’t have a lot of contact right now, if any, because we’re all doing our own thing.”
Family members who did watch her walk down the aisle included her two children – Elijah, 17, and Grace, 15 – from her first marriage to businessman Arch Kelly III.
“I didn’t want it to be about anyone but Cactus and me,” Wynonna explained. “Because to me, at the end of the day, it’s the children, Cactus, and me . . I was so concerned about making this feel special for them, everything fell away.”
