In the midst of her daughter Kim’s very public split from husband Kris Humphries, Kris Jenner has revealed new details about her own marital troubles with Robert Kardashian.
She shares her regrets over cheating on her first husband in her new memoir, Kris Jenner . . . And All Things Kardashian. She also admits that her infidelity resulted in the end of their marriage. Kardashian filed for divorce a few weeks after finding out about the affair.
“When you’re very young you do a lot of stupid things,” Kris told Jay Leno Tuesday on “The Tonight Show.”
“It’s probably the biggest regret of my life that I ended up having an affair,” she said. “[I was] probably just really naive and stupid and restless and didn’t realize that marriage has its ups and downs.”
At the time of the affair, the couple had four children together: Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Robert Jr. After their divorce in 1990, Robert Kardashian went on to represent OJ Simpson in his murder trial. He passed away following a battle with cancer in 2003.
Kris remarried, tying the knot with Olympic track and field star Bruce Jenner in 1991. They have two daughters- Kendall and Kylie.
