Katie Crops Hair, Jay's Request to Ryan Causes Controversy, Britney Teams up with Old Manager

Katie Holmes picked up some pizza pies from Pizzeria Mozza in L.A. Monday night, debuting her new pageboy haircut. We’re not sure if the cropped locks are for a new role, but her rep told Us Weekly that Katie “is in discussions” to join the Broadway revival of All My Sons.

Jay Leno made waves in the gay community last week when he asked actor and celebudad Ryan Phillippe to make his “gayest face” to the cameras. Visibily uncomfortable, Ryan refused. Good thing too as Jay’s words have caused quite a backlash. Angered viewers launched website MyGayestFace.com as retaliation. It features photos of members from both gay and straight communities giving Jay the middle finger (which can be sent in to the site, by the way), as well as contact information for Jay’s production company and NBC, so that people can protest Jay’s actions.

Britney Spears is reuniting with her manager, Larry Rudolph, in another step to regaining her superstardom and respect in both the celeb and real worlds. Larry helped Britney launch her career years ago. The two parted ways when he tried to get her to go to rehab after exhibiting irrational behavior.
