According to PEOPLE magazine, Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block and his wife welcomed their second child. Their newest bundle of joy, Rhys Edward, joins the couple’s oldest child, two-year-old Griffin Thomas. Rhys Edward weighed in at a healthy 7lbs., 10oz.
The proud Dad Tweeted Monday that the new boy and his mom are “both rock stars.”
When the couple announced in July they were expecting a baby at the end of this year, they asked big brotherThomas if he wanted a new baby in the family. His answer was an enthusiastic “Please!” The parents stated that he was constantly kissing his mommy’s tummy.
Will the McIntyres continue to have more children? According to PEOPLE, McIntyre states that the couple “has a deal to keep going until we have a girl.”
