Toys”R”Us Swing Set Recall

Have you bought a new swing set recently? Pacific Cycle issued a recall on their swing sets sold by Toys”R”Us due to a fall hazard. About 5,000 units of the Playsafe Dartmouth Swing Set have already been recalled. The affected sets were sold between  January 2011 through May 2011 for about $270.

Five customers have reported the swing seats breaking during use. Injuries caused by the swing set include minor bruises and scrapes. The voluntary recall is for the Playsafe Dartmouth Swing Set model number 22-PS340, with date codes FSD0115AA and FSD0315AA.

Pacific Cycle asks consumers to stop use of the sling-style swing seats immediately and to contact the company for free replacement seats. For additional information, contact Pacific Cycle toll-free at (877) 564-2261 or visit the firm’s website at www.pacific-cycle.com
