Is Katie Holmes Planning for More Kids?

As the youngest in a family of five kids, Katie Holmes got all the attention and loved it.

“My closest sister is five years older than me, and the next one is nine years ahead of me, so I was a bit of an only child, and I liked it,” Katie admits in the October issue of Marie Claire. 

So, Katie wants to make sure her own daughter Suri, 4, has that same kind of one-on-one attention. She is in no rush to have another baby.

“Maybe in a couple of years, but right now I want to make sure I’m really there for [her],” Katie explains.

So, how do Katie and hubby Tom Cruise give their little girl attention? They try to develop a daily routine and a sense of normalcy, despite being in the public eye.

“[Suri] does her chores,” Katie explains. “I think it’s very important.” Suri makes her own bed, takes her dishes to the sink, puts clothes in the laundry, etc. She has started to teach Suri the true meaning of responsibility at the tender age of 4. Bravo, Katie!
