Let’s Craft: Family Hand Print Gift for Mom
This project comes from crafty mom Jessie Daye.
“Today we’re making a really sweet Mother’s Day gift.
My husband always gives me a purse, or something he buys from a store, and while it’s so nice that he does that, I always tell him that I want things from my kids. So this year, I did something to show him what I mean.”
Here’s how to make a lovely and personal Mother’s Day gift for the special woman in your life:
Supplies
- Paint (safe to put on hands)
- Paintbrushes
- Markers
- Paper
- Frame
Directions
Start by measuring your frame, and then cut your paper to fit inside. You can use cardboard or poster board instead of paper, whatever you want.
Then get your handprints. If you’re doing it for your mom, get her’s first so she doesn’t see the finished product!
Just use the paint brush to coat the hand, then press it down on the paper. Use markers to write each person’s name under their hand print.
Let dry, and put in the frame! You’re done!
