It’s official. Kate Gosselin is returning to reality television, with kids in tow. She will be doing several Kate Plus 8 specials in addition to her own new show, Twist of Kate. A rep from TLC confirmed the shows to PEOPLE.
Kate Plus 8 will focus on her life as a single mother. The episodes will costar all of her children. I thought she was concerned about the paparazzi in her children’s faces? I’m guessing starring in a new reality show isn’t going to help the situation. At least reports that Kate might pose in Playboy are false.
In the 12 episodes of Twist of Kate, set to air this summer, Kate will try something new. USA Today reports in a Twist of Kate, Gosselin will use fan letters from women inspired by her story as the basis to profile other women facing their own challenges.
TLC chief Eileen O’Neill says of the show, “She will be in that person’s shoes. And more often than not, it’s not going to be terribly comfortable for her.”
Kate says, “I look at it as a loose concept. I want to be out there learning from others, helping to provide insight whenever I can, though I don’t consider myself an expert on anything.”
Twist of Kate sounds like an interesting show. I am curious…
