Kegel Exercises for Better Sex
Kegel exercises work your pelvic floor muscles, which can lead to better sex. Both men and women are able to perform Kegel exercises. Properly doing your Kegel exercises requires dedication. You’ll need to do them daily for at least a month before you notice results. Once you feel the difference, though, you will know that it is well worth the effort.
Traditional Kegels
To do the traditional Kegel exercises, you don’t need any supplies, and you can do them wherever you want. Find your pelvic floor muscles by stopping the flow of urine as you urinate. This helps you find the muscles, but you shouldn’t do your Kegel exercises on the toilet, which can weaken the muscles. Do them in another location by clenching the muscles for 10 seconds, then releasing. Repeat this for three sets of 10.
Kegel Exerciser
There are special Kegel exercisers that you can purchase to increase the resistance as you do your Kegel exercises. Typically, these are V-shaped plastic device that you insert into the vagina and squeeze together. You may also find different shapes, but the point is that squeezing the object creates more resistance than doing it on your own.
Weights
Weights can also help you to do the exercises. Purchase weights that are made specially for Kegel exercises, insert them into your vagina, and hold them inside. As your muscles get stronger, you can use heavier weights.
Biofeedback
If you are not sure if you are using the correct muscles, you may want to try a biofeedback device. This will place electrodes on your stomach, anal area and possibly inside your vagina. As you squeeze your muscles, the device will indicate whether you are using the correct muscles.
Kegel Exercises for Men
Kegel exercises for men can help them prolong ejaculation and fix some types of erectile dysfunction. To do the exercises, you simply clench the pelvic muscles tightly for 10 seconds, then release. The Ask Men website suggests using faster contractions.
