Beyonce’s Hairstyles

Singer and actress Beyonce Knowles started her career in the girl group Destiny’s Child. Performing with Destiny’s Child, she became known for her voice and dance moves. As her career progressed, she also became known for her great sense of style and her ever-changing image. Beyonce has had numerous hairstyles through the years, all of which have looked stunning on her.

Sleek and Golden

In 2009, Beyonce wore her hair in a long, straight style. Her color was slightly golden. She either wore her straight hair down and parted to the side so that it framed her face or she pulled it half up and pouffed in the front, which made her eyes stand out. If you have long hair, you can style it like Beyonce’s by pulling a straight iron through it and either parting it to the side or pulling half of it back and teasing the the hair near the forehead. Spritz the hair with an anti-frizz serum to keep it looking smooth.

From Slightly Wavy to Super Curly

Beyonce has also subjected her long hair to the curling iron. In addition to wearing her hair straight in 2009, she also appeared several times with long, flowing wavy hair. Her wavy hair ranged from relaxed and loose to thick curls cascading down her back. You can copy Beyonce’s wavy look by curling your hair loosely before going to bed. Wrap your hair around a bobby pin and secure to your head or wear your hair in a loose braid so that you wake up with gentle curls. You can also use a small curling iron in the morning if you don’t want to sleep with your hair tied up.

Beyonce has also worn her hair in tighter curls that stick out from her hair and frame her face nicely. For her role in the 2006 movie “Austin Powers: Goldmember,” she wore her hair in a tightly curled Afro that gave her a 1970s vibe.

Swept Up

Beyonce has also been known to wear to her hair in a simple but always glamorous updo. She’s worn her hair pulled up in several ways. At the 2005 Grammy Awards, she had it pulled back smoothly, and the long length twisted around itself. In 2008, she wore it in a 1960s-style bouffant, with the front parted to the side and the back towering above her head. She’s also worn her hair parted to the side and loosely swept up in the back.
