Romantic Anniversary Gifts for Men
Wedding anniversaries are a time to celebrate your love for each other. So whether you choose a traditional or more contemporary anniversary gift for him, you will want to select a gift that he will remember. However, finding the right gift may not be so easy, especially when it comes to giving him something romantic that says “I love you.”
Classic Books
Give him a first edition copy of one of his favorite books signed by the author. Books always make for a thoughtful gift, and if he collects rare or limited editions, all the better. But you may want to give him something other than an autographed copy. Maybe you would rather present him with one of the romantic classics from literature, which more suitably expresses what you are feeling. To this day, “Pride and Prejudice” by novelist Jane Austen remains a classic tale of love and romance. Keep in mind that the value of the book is not what matters. The thought that goes into such a special gift is what really counts.
Love Poem
Give him a gift that will make a lasting memory. Personalize a love poem to your husband (see “Additional Resources,” below). Or, if you prefer, write a poem of your own. Include his name with a phrase like “Happy Anniversary” or “To My Loving Husband.” Add a special message following the poem, a closing phrase such as “I Will Love You Always” and then your own name. You also have the option of adding the date of your anniversary along with a photo of the two of you. Pantygram
For the woman who likes to be a bit more flirtatious with her man, send him that romantic message via a pantygram (see “Additional Resources,” below). You can make this an anniversary he is sure to remember. Little red heart-shaped panties are packaged in a glossy black envelope with a gold card attached. The card tells him to go online to retrieve his intimate message from you.
One-Night Getaway
If this is a special landmark anniversary, surprise him by booking a scenic river cruise just for the two of you (see “Additional Resources,” below). What better way to celebrate your anniversary than with a romantic one-night getaway on a private yacht charter? Watch the sun set over the water as the moon rises. Afterward, dine by romantic candlelight, and then bask under the starlit sky topside. The next day, picnic on the shore or simply relax together in leisure.
