RECALL: 1.5 Million GM Vehicles

General Motors is recalling 1.5 million Buick, Cadillac, Hummer, Saturn and GMC sport-utility vehicles, pickups and cars.

A heated washer fluid system module could pose a fire risk, the company announced Tuesday. GM said there are no known injuries or crashes. There have been reports of five fires. According to the Associated Press, the company plans to disable the heated washer fluid system module that could lead to fires. They will pay owners and those leasing vehicles $100 since the feature is being disabled.

Buick Lucerne.
Cadillac DTS.
Hummer H2.
 
2008-09 vehicles under recall:
 
Buick Enclave.
Cadillac CTS.
 
2007-09 vehicles under recall:
 
Cadillac Escalade.
Escalade ESV.
Escalade EXT.
Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe.
GMC Acadia, Sierra, Yukon, Yukon XL.
Saturn Outlook.
 
2009-only vehicle under recall:
 
Chevrolet Traverse.
