Creamy Brie, Ham and Apple Panini
Looking for a fun new lunch idea? Look no further!
This delicious panini recipe is perfect for fall!
Creamy Brie, Ham and Apple Panini
Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 8 pieces of hearty baguette or whole wheat sourdough bread
- 2 apples, thinly sliced
- 8 slices Triple crème Brie cheese (substitute smoked Gouda or a sharp cheddar if you aren’t a fan of Brie)
- 2 slices of Black Forest Ham
Directions
Start an assembly line by laying out the bread, and layering with brie. Then add layer by layer starting with 3 pieces of ham, and the apples.
Press accordingly to your Panini maker’s directions and enjoy! (Don’t sweat it if you don’t have a Panini maker. I’ve used a brick covered in foiled to weigh down the Panini in a smoking hot, ungreased non stick pan, and then flipped it over once it was golden caramel. No bricks? Check your pantry for canned goods, and use two instead of the brick.)
This recipe is so perfect for fall, all the flavors complement each other.
I like to serve it with sweet potato fries and a salad. It’s something that even my picky 6-year-old will devour!
