Custom Drawers

By Lolita Carrico

Organized DrawerMakeover messy drawers with these ingenious trays from The Organized Parent. After you mix and match the various sizes to fit a drawer, magnets embedded into the sides of the individual cubes hold it all together while rubber feet prevent sliding.  We love these for the "junk" drawer, cosmetics and hair accessories, or art supplies.

Each set comes with six bins: three 3" x 3"; one 3" x 9"; one 6" x 6" and one 3" x 6".

$38 for a set of 6 at TheOrganizedParent.com

Hot Tees for Cool Kids

By Lolita Carrico

Onesies and t-shirts for tots have moved beyond an essential layer to a fashion statement. With new companies sprouting daily, we thought we'd round-up some of our favorite finds.

SHRNK

My hands-down favorite tees (and hoodies, pants + pj's) for my kids, SHRNK's fab styles not only look cool, but they are made from the softest cotton I've ever felt. If only they made women's shirts!

Inky Dink Tees

With pint-sized fans including Angelina Jolie's boys and Kelly Ripa's tots, Inky Dink offers rock 'n' roll styles on super-comfy cotton.

Appaman

Jennifer Garner and Britney Spears scoop up Appaman's tees. Their newest line for girls feature fun, colorful designs and the boys duds play on a classic cars motif.

Speak Clothing

Speak Clothing's line of tees was inspired by founder Liz Murphy's hearing-impared son. The graceful shirts highlight the signs for "play," "laugh," "run," and more.

Wry Baby

San Francisco-based Wry Baby's tees and onesies tell it like it is. Our favorites are the oh-so-useful "I'm Not A Boy" and "I'm Not A Girl" which state the sometimes not so obvious.

Blast from the Past

By Lolita Carrico
Compelled to rid the baby-world of pastels and lace, Jennifer Cattaui's Babesta.com stocks "cool threads and more for trendsetting tots."

Our favorite item from her collection: Jellio's Gummi Lites - colorful lamps in the shape of Gummi Bears. Perfect for kids' rooms and play areas, these oversized treats are retro-chic and dentist-approved!
