Rocker Moms of the Dixie Chicks Kick Off L.A.s Nokia Theatres Opening

By Lolita Carrico

Last night, Dixie Chicks Natalie Maines, Emily Robison and Martie Maguire, collectively moms to seven kids, played a solid one-hour concert, opening for the Eagles at L.A.'s newest concert hall. Highlights included the Dixie Chicks making an entrance to ??Hail to the Chief? and Natalie belting out a powerful ??Not Ready to Make Nice,? while Emily and Martie rocked out with the banjo and fiddle respectively.  Variety noted that this is their first performance since their five Grammy award sweep in 2006, and that the wait was well worth it. After an encore and pure pandemonium from fans, ??the performance pretty much blew away anything the Eagles could muster later in the evening,? the entertainment newspaper reported. If there was any doubt about the DCs comeback after the backlash they faced due to their political views, this concert surely took care of it! Rock on mommas!

Did anyone go to the show? What did you think?

RUMOR: Salma Hayek Involved in a Love Triangle?

By Lolita Carrico

Perez Hilton is reporting that Francois-Henri Pinault is not only the father of Salma's baby girl Valentina Paloma, but he may also be the father to Linda Evangelista's son, Augustin James, born only a year ago. (The super model has remained mum about who fathered her child.) Salma gave birth to her daughter a month ago, and has reportedly been dating the French Tycoon for a few years. They are currently engaged. So far, no one has commented on the drama, which means it is probably just tabloid fodder, but we'll see if anything develops.

Halle Berry Looks Hot at Things We Lost in the Fire Premiere in L.A.

By Natasha Burton

HalleSoon-to-be parents Halle Berry and boyfriend Gabriel Aubry both looked stunning at the L.A. premiere of Halle's movie "Things We Lost in the Fire" last night. Halle clearly stole the show in a black slinky dress that showed off her growing baby bump, which isn't surprising considering I haven't seen a bad fashion choice of hers, well, ever! The actress is now four months pregnant and despite morning sickness, food cravings, and having to give up some of her favorite designer digs to accommodate her growing belly, she recently told People magazine, "Nothing's been bad about [being pregnant]. I've loved every second of it."

Halle clearly loved the attention from Gabriel after the premiere as the two cuddled during the after party, watching the scene as he rubbed her belly. They are so cute together and it is clear that they are going to make wonderful, loving parents. Halle told Oprah that it look her seven months to get pregnant and has said on many occasions how she has been ready for motherhood for a long time. "The ease I had with [the child actors I have worked with] validated that I do have a really strong maternal instinct," Berry told People magazine, "I really do need to have children." Halle is due in March and I cannot wait to see her and Gabriel's beautiful baby. Watch out Shiloh!
