If Nicole Richie Has a Son, He’s Going to Have Some Awesome Playmates!

Given the speculation that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are having a boy, I couldn't help but think of other celeb kids who could be friends with their little one (who will be born sometime in January). Joel Madden recently said that he and his brother Benji are ready to teach Joel's soon-to-be-born child all he needs to know about music and sports, but there are some celeb lads who could team up with Baby Richie-Madden at the local park and show him the ropes of being a Hollywood baby:

Style Gurus: Kingston Rossdale (Parents: Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale) and Romeo Beckham (Parents: Victoria and David Beckham)

Little Kingston, 1, is always seen out in some sort of stylish get-up...from a shirt with his name emblazoned on it to stripped leggings. His long-in-front, cropped-in-back rocker hair do' only adds to his hip look - making him the ideal choice to give Nicole and Joel's baby some fashion tips. Kingston even rides around town in style. Victoria and David Beckham's middle son Romeo, 4, is also a fashion-forward little man and his expertise lies in creating a perfect look. Mom Victoria says, "He's so into his looks it's something else. He'll say 'Mummy, I want to wear this hat with this outfit' and he won't leave the house until he's looking just right," Fametastic U.K. reports.

Coolness Expert: Maddox Jolie-Pitt (Parents: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt)

Notorious for his mohawk, as well as for sticking his tongue out at paparazzi trying to snap pics of mom and dad, Maddox Pitt-Jolie, 6, is king of cool in the celeb kid world -- and he can help Nicole and Joel's baby with his 'tude and overall cool factor. Mad's got unique style--he was seen sporting a sleeker version of his mohawk and donning a blazer when Angelina picked him up from school in early October. Even his

toys are cool: on a recent shopping trip with mom Maddox scored a Warrior Playset, a Nerf Dart Tag Mag Strike Rapid Fire Blaster System and some Pop Rocks.

And of course, is doesn't hurt that Maddox's parents are likely Hollywood's coolest, and sexiest couple.

Career Coach: Deacon Phillippe (Parents Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe)

We recently reported how Deacon, 4, declared his desire to be a pizza man when he grew up, making him a natural choice to give Nicole and Joel's little one some career advice when he needs it. Deacon's a little guy who knows what he wants and he's proud to share his dreams. Plus, he got a whole bunch of Pizza Hut loot for declaring his aspirations -- pretty cool that his potential employer already wants to hire him at his young age.

The Brain: Liam McDermott (Parents: Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott)

A natural choice for some intellectual education is Liam, eight months, who was dressed up as Curious George for Halloween, People magazine reports, because he is so alert and excited about figuring out the world around him. Mom Tori told People, "He observes everything! If he's playing with you and he can hear a tiny little noise across the room, he's like, 'What's that?'" Mom and Dad have equipped their little guy with the Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumper to he can continue to maximize his brain power.

Travel Consultant: River Deary (Parents: Keri Russell and Shane Deary)

Keri Russell recently sat down with Mommywood to discuss her life a new mom and revealed that her son, River, four months, is her frequent travel companion. I bet the little guy has some great stories to tell about location shoots, airplanes, and first-class lounges, as well as who has the best craft services set-ups.

Update: Nancy Grace and her Twins

The CNN anchor was released from the hospital late last week after having blood clots in her lungs. Her new babies, who were born two months early, "are still in the preemie unit," Grace wrote in a message posted on CNN.com.

Nancy also said in the message: "Please continue your prayers. I know they are being heard because the doctors say the twins are doing well. John David is up to 5 1/2 pounds and Lucy is approaching 4 pounds! They are both taking bottles and I pray and believe they are close to having tubes removed."

Even though she is still recovering at home, Nancy is already thinking about getting back to her post at CNN and seems in great spirits about her new life as a mom. "I can't wait to introduce them to you on air when I am finally back at work, God willing. They are the joy of my life. I never knew such a love," she said.

Where Are They Now: 90s Edition!

Who ever said moms and dads aren't hip? If you were a teenager in the 90's, chances are you would have a Spice Girls CD in your Discman and Hanson posters on your bedroom walls. A decade later, the two groups are as popular as ever �?? but now they're moms and dads. The Spice Girls reunion tour tickets for their London show sold out in 38 seconds last week, and I just read that Hanson played to a sold-out crowd in Chicago last weekend as well. So they can still pack those concert halls. Funny to think that, four out of five of the Spice Girls are moms and two out of three Hansons are dads. Pretty rad if you ask me!

Victoria Beckham, likely the most famous of the Girls today, is famously married to David Beckham. She was the first of the group to become a mom, giving birth to son Brooklyn in March 1996. She now has two more sons, Romeo, 4, and Cruz, 2. She also designs clothing for Rock&Republic, and with her new $22 million estate in Beverly Hills, continues living up to her "Posh" moniker.

After cutting a solo album and serving as a Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations, Geri �??Ginger Spice�?� Halliwell had her daughter, Bluebell in May of 2006.

Mel B is currently competing on Dancing with the Stars and was involved in a rather nasty paternity scandal with actor Eddie Murphy, the court-confirmed father of the her second child, Angel Iris. In regards to Murphy, she told People magazine during her pregnancy, "I think he's been extremely disrespectful, and I don't think anyone should be allowed to get away with saying what he said whilst I was pregnant.�?� Murphy had said, �??I don't know whose that child is,�?� but he certainly knows now! The former Scary Spice also has an eight-year-old daughter, Phoenix Chi, with her ex-husband, dancer Jimmy Gulzar, and recently got married to music producer Stephen Belafonte.

�??Baby�?� of the group Emma Bunton is the newest mom. She had her first son Beau this past August. She also cut a solo album and is the only Spice Girl to have a hit in the new millennium. Sporty Spice Mel C's solo career surpasses all of her former band mates combined, selling over 3 million record and six Top 10 singles. Though she's not a mom yet, rumor has it that babies might be in Mel C's near future, as she recently called her boyfriend Tom Starr her "one forever."

As for the Hanson brothers, middle brother Taylor has three little ones: Jordan 5, Penelope, 2. and River, 1. Eldest brother, Isaac became a dad soon after in February 2007 with a son, Clarke. Zac, the youngest, just got married in 2006.  Can his brood be far behind?

So which 90's band wins the battle of the babies? Between the five Spice Girls, there are seven �??three boys and four girls--and the Hansons collectively have four�??three boys and a girl.

The Mommywood Weekend Report

Wow, this weekend was full of milestones and announcements! Nicole Richie had her baby shower on Sunday ­ a fabulous fete hosted by Richie's mother Brenda, and thrown by her sister Sophia and friends Paris Hilton and Masha Gordon, People magazine reports.

Over 90 people attended the Beverly Hills party whose theme was said to be The Wizard of Oz. Spotted: lots of gifts for a baby boy!

Congratulations to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes who celebrated their one-year anniversary this past weekend.

Who could forget the elaborate Italian castle where their nuptials took place, or the jewel-encrusted Armani dress Katie wore? Or how angelic little Suri looked in her custom-made dress? The whole affair was absolutely stunning.

Former E.R. star Julianna Margulies married lawyer Keith Lieberthal in Massachusetts on November 10, her rep reported this weekend. Julianna, 41, is seven months pregnant with the couple¹s first child.

Angelina Jolie must be celebrating with Brad and her brood this weekend. Her movie, Beowulf ranked number one at the box office, taking in $28 million.

In other news, Britney Spears lost her right to drive her children, which is probably a good thing given her recent run-ins (and run-overs) with the paparazzi. TMZ also reports that Britney was at Petco yesterday, and when a reporter asked her if she would be dining at Miley Cyrus' house for Thanksgiving, Britney said yes! Apparently the young star is a big fan of Britney's and wants to support her during these troubled times. Very sweet of young Miley. Who knows? Maybe Britney will see fit to share a cautionary tale or two with new protege.

Sadly, Martha Stewart's mom, Martha Kostyra, known as Big Martha, died on Friday at age of 93. Martha has posted a tribute to her mom on her blog and thanks everyone for all of their love and support.
