Daily Baby: Uma’s Stalker Guilty, Nicole’s Wacky Phobia, Madonna Giving Up Country Life?
Jack Jordan was found guilty Tuesday of stalking actress Uma Thurman. After a week-long trial, a jury in the State Supreme Court in Manhattan found Jordan guilty of one count of stalking and one count of second-degree aggravated harassment. Prosecutors argued that Jordan stalked Thurman on and off over the last three years, including showing up at her home and a NYC film set. He also sent strange cards and letters as well as suicidal rants about Thurman to the actress' parents.
People.com posted this fun fact about Nicole Kidman this week: “The mom-to-be is a lepidopterophobe: she is terrified of butterflies.” Who knew?!
Pop diva and mom of three Madonna might be looking to sell her English country home. According to the UK Telegraph, "The house was the setting for Madonna's tweedy phase, during which she took up traditional English pursuits such as clay pigeon shooting and riding." Perhaps she is ready to leave her provincial life and go back to the big city?
And Happy Mother’s Day Modern Moms! Hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing weekend.

Elisabeth Trained ‘Like an Athlete’ Post Baby
Just six months after the birth of her second child, The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck bared all for Fitness magazine, showing off her uber-toned post-baby bod. "I finally told myself ... 'I've got some curves, I've got a bubble butt, but I don't mind, because it's what powers me forward when I run,' " she said.
And run she did. Elisabeth said on The View Wednesday that she trained the way she did in high school, like an athlete, even comparing her regimen to that of her football-playing hubby Tim. She worked out for six weeks, including daily dashes and weight training. And to get that flat belly back, she did ab work two times a week.
"Body image has nothing to do with scale numbers, it's how you feel inside," Elisabeth, who turns 31 this month, told the magazine. "This is the first time I've felt free from that, because I am working out in a way where I feel so strong that there's no room for those doubts."
Hmm. Elisabeth says that it’s all about how she feels in the inside, but her training regimen to get her bod to look flawless on the outside seems pretty intense, no? Though, at the same time, I think that her decision to make her body strong, not thin per say, is a great example of a healthy mindset.
Do you think Elisabeth’s workout plan was too extreme?

Suri’s Drinking Habits Becoming “Bottle-Gate”?
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s daughter, Suri, was spotted sucking on a bottle in NYC earlier this week, spawning comments and criticism from various news outlets who say that at two years old, the tot should no longer be drinking from a bottle.
Us Weekly called on some experts to weigh in on the situation. "Most pediatricians recommend a bottle should be given up by age 1 — almost certainly by 18 months," Dr. Charlotte Cowan, author of the Dr. Hippo book series, tells Usmagazine.com. However, Dr. Cowan said that constant traveling with her parents might shed light on why Suri is still relying on a bottle. "When babies are challenged, their diet is upset, their sleep is upset," Dr. Cowan says. "They will regress back to previous habits ... lingering with a bottle is comforting. You could argue that her parents have decided that this is not the time to try to wean her off if they're traveling frequently."
Yet, every child is different and the important thing, some experts said, is to not distress over a situation like this one. "We panic and feel as if we have to break a child of that habit before it's really necessary to do so," psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow, who has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, tells Us Weekly.
What do you think? Should Suri have been weaned off the bottle already? Any tips for Katie and Tom?

Daily Baby: J. Lo+Marc Step Out at Met’s Gala, Brit Gets Time with Sons, Angie: Best Villain?
New parents Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony made it clear that even an A-list event, like Monday's Costume Institute Gala in NYC doesn’t make it any easier to leave their twins behind at home. "They're missing us!" Marc Anthony told Usmagazine.com of their newborn babies, Max and Emme. The twins are "fantastic!" added a glowing Jennifer Lopez. J. Lo showed off her post-baby bod in a one-shoulder Alberta Ferretti frock that night and the couple gabbed with pals Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and David and Victoria Beckham at the bash.
Britney Spears will get more visitation time with her sons, a court ruled Tuesday, People magazine reports. "We are so pleased with Britney's progress, and we are appreciative of the court's recognition of this progress," Brit's parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, said in statement after a hearing attended by the pop star and her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Angelina Jolie is nominated for a MTV Movie Award—for best villain. Her slithery take as Grendel’s mother in the film Beowulf earned her the nomination, and she is up against seasoned actors Denzel Washington, Javier Bardem, Johnny Depp in the category.
