Jen Garner Lights Up Broadway

In October, I named Jen as one of my fave celeb moms, so I thought it would be a good time to check in and see how she is doing in her Broadway debut. Jen plays Roxanne in Cyrano De Bergerac in New York.

The reviews are in and she's a hit! New York Times critic Ben Brantley -- a make-you-or-break-you man of the stage -- said, "Ms. Garner, I am pleased to report, makes Roxane a girl worth pining over," and also called her performance �??captivating.�?� Jen however, might never see his rave review! She told People magazine that when it comes to any critics' comments about the show, "I'm not going to look at [them]�?�No, I can't stand it."

Of course, the number one man in Jen's life, hubby Ben Affleck, gave his wife a glowing assessment, too. "[I am] really impressed by [Jen's] courage and her talent,�?� he told People, adding that he's already sat in on the show several times. his wife, he says, "keeps impressing me, and I keep on loving it."

Keep breaking a leg out there, Jen!
