Christina Aguilera Defends Her Mommy-Daddy Nights
Songtress and new mom Christina Aguilera has been criticized for recent photos of her out at clubs -- and she's fighting back!
“I spend all day with my son and once in a while if I want to go out and have a mommy-daddy night with my husband, I am more than allowed to do that,” Aguilera told “Access Hollywood.”
"Everybody has an opinion," she said. "But it's something that comes with what [I] do and I learned that very early on."

I think she can make her own decisions for what is best for her and her family, and I don’t agree that simply being in the same space with your child 24/7 makes you a good parent. Some women need a balance for their mental health, and shouldn’t be criticized for taking some “recharge time” for herself. Give me a break!
Wow! If she’s a good mom and wants a little time out with her husband WHAT IS SO WRONG WITH THAT? Don’t hate the lady because she’s able to go out and party. I’m a young mom of 3, married 10 YEARS to the same guy, who is also the father to ALL three of my children! We are still young and I sure don’t want to feel older than I already do! I luv my kids and am sooo happy being a mommy. I even take my 10 month old to work with me. But alone time with my husband is great and it’s what keeps us married for this long too! Some people need to get out of the 1950’s… BTW, Christina Aguilera is NOT Britney Spears. Have a good day!!! =)
Wow, I just went to a concert with my husband and left my two children in the loving arms of their grandmother. I guess I am not allowed either!
Honestly, for your child’s sake you need time to yourself and time alone with your husband. I agree with the previous post that spending time with your husband is what keeps people close and married!
Christina is doing things she enjoys with her husband mostly when their child is sleeping! I say go for it!
