Daily Baby: Miley Writing Memoirs, A-Rod + Wife Welcome Baby #2, Connor Cruise Moves Into Spotlight

Connor Cruise, son of Tom and Nicole Kidman, will make his film debut in the upcoming Will Smith drama Seven Pounds, People magazine reports. Thirteen-year-old Connor will play a young version of Smith in a very minor role. “Tom is so proud of Connor,” says a source to the magazine. “He’s proud of him for really doing this on his own.”

Achy-Breaky Heart singer Billy Ray Cyrus’ daughter Miley, the tween superstar of Hannah Montana fame, has been given a seven-figure deal to pen her memoirs. Miley told Us Weekly that the book will talk about her relationship with her mom, Leticia: “I hope to motivate mothers and daughters to build lifetimes of memories together and inspire kids around the world to live their dreams.”

New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, 32 and wife Cynthia, 34, welcomed their second daughter (who’s name has not yet been released) Monday night in Miami. “We are thrilled with the birth of our second daughter and the blessing of having two beautiful, healthy children in our lives,” the happy father said in a statement.
