Melissa Joan Hart brought a pint-size date to maternity store Pea in the Pod’s Hot Moms bash in Beverly Hills on Wednesday—her infant son Braydon, born March 12. Melissa, whose first son is named Mason, 2, writes on her MySpace page: “[Braydon] looks exactly like Mason…Mason is a perfect big brother…He’s loving, gives Brady lots of kisses and tries to help me out."”

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, parents of Apple, 4, and Moses, almost 2, have been facing rumors that their marriage is on the rocks. Gwyneth’s mom, Blythe Danner, cleared the air on Tuesday, telling Us Weekly, “Good god, it’s just so tragic that people have to make up stuff…I’ve never seen two happier parents — or people — so I don’t get it.”

Various news outlets are reporting that the late actor Heath Ledger may have fathered a love child. It was Heath’s estranged uncle Haydn who told Sydney’s Daily Telegraph this information. However, he later told Australia’s Channel Nine News that, “It is a rumor and it is one that has been out there for some time, not only within our family but certainly in the wider community of Perth and it’s certainly a rumor that I’m aware of and other people have certainly been aware of it…It is only a rumor and I simply answered by saying, yes, it’s a possibility.” Can’t the man just rest in peace? I think Heath’s uncle’s actions were not only irresponsible but incredibly unfeeling to the rest of the family. Some things should just be kept private.
