Marcia Cross is a hands-on mom who I always see out and about around L.A., soaking up the sunshine with her twin girls, Eden and Savannah. Of course, Marcia is usually donning a hat to protect her lovely lily-white skin. Whether they are window shopping in Santa Monica or browsing though the Farmer's Market she looks like she is having a blast with her little girls.

Between her Deperate Housewives' shooting schedule and the quality time she spends with her kids (and husband), how does this modern mom spend the time she has for herself? At the spa! Mommywood learned that Marcia hits up Beverly Hills' Thibiant Salon for facials regularly to take a break from it all. I knew she must have a secret for getting her fair skin to actually glow! I went down to Thibiant to get the star treatment last week for myself and tried their new organic facial. All the products used in the organic facial are �??USDA approved organic�?�, which is fabulous for me because I love the idea using all natural products on my skin without having to commit to the whole organic lifestyle!

Outdoor-loving (yet skin-protecting) Marcia seems like she would be a natural fan of this facial. I will be sure to ask her if she's tried it if I run into her at my next treatment!

Thats Amore: Reese and Jakes Italian Weekend

            Reese and Jake might not have gotten cozy at the L.A. premiere of  �??Rendition�?� as I hoped, but they sure made up for it while promoting the film in Italy on Sunday at the Rome Film Festival. Perez Hilton reported that the co-stars spend all day Saturday together sightseeing and �??were even spotted snuggling in public at the Trevi fountain.�?� So exciting! I'm glad they waiting until Reese's divorce went through before stepping out�??very classy of them. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Heidi Klum Talks about Hot Hubby to Oprah

            Heidi Klum revealed to Oprah yesterday afternoon that she was first attracted to he hottie hubby Seal when she say him coming out of the gym in bicycle shorts and "pretty much saw everything, the whole package." Whew! Talk about candor. Heidi said it so innocently though that it sounded quite sweet actually. Heidi later said that Seal is more than just attractive, but also �??the most romantic husband�?� too. Seal, who was also on the show, agreed that their physical attraction is one of the reasons their marriage continues to work so well but it takes more than that. "The most common hiccup is [when you have children and] it turns into all about the kids, which is understandable because they're miraculous. But then you've got to put each other first. You know, [Heidi] will always be number one for me."

            Heidi and Seal are mom and dad to two children, Leni, 3, and Henry, 2. It's great to see a couple come out and talk about their relationship in the context of kids and how they make it work by finding a balance. Allegedly, the couple also has some risqué photos of themselves hanging in the bedroom and have been known to keep the magic alive after having their little ones, which we all know can be a challenge.

Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon and husband Michael welcomed twins on Oct. 18. Joseph Nilon was born at 8:30 p.m. and weighed 4 lbs. 7 oz., and Jaid Thomas Nilon was born at 8:31 p.m. and weighed 4 lbs. 9 oz.

"3:10 to Yuma" actress Gretchen Mol and her husband, director Tod Williams, are parents of a son. Ptolemy John Williams was born Sept. 10, the actress's rep says.

California Wild Fires Cause Hollywood Moms & Dads To Evacuate

            Many celeb moms and dads have had to leave their million-dollar digs for safety, including Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, Tea Leoni and David Duchovney, and Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks. New parents Tori Spelling and husband Dean's new B&B, Chateau La Rue, is in danger due to the fires in Malibu and has been evacuated.

            According to news outlets, California has had one of the worst droughts in years, leaving hillsides especially vulnerable to brushfires. So far, roughly 200 homes have been evacuated, many have been lost, and over 1000 acres of land have burned. More than 500 firefighters from all over the area (and even Nevada) are fighting the flames, which are expected to continue for several days due to wind. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the fires in all area of California and the brave firefighters who have been saving lives and homes.
