Anne Heche, Candid and Collected on The View

           Anyone catch �??The View�?� this morning? I was on the treadmill and became quickly entranced by Anne Heche talking about her recent divorce, her coupling with �??Man In Trees�?� co-star James Tupper, and what it's like flying back and forth from Canada to see son Homer. Barbra took the helm on this interview, as she has interviewed Anne on previous occasions. Anne and cameraman husband Coley Lafoon split last February and have been going back and forth in the press over who's to blame. Barbra's candor was in good form, telling Anne that, "I didn't think that marriage was going to last�?�I don't think you always think with your head." Anne was equally candid, calling new squeeze James �??adorable�?� yet also touching on the difficulties of not seeing her son as often as she'd like to.  "Homer flies a lot ... twice a month to see me," Heche said. Twice a month, Heche also flies to L.A. to be with her son.  Heche explains that she gives Homer a lot of love over the phone. "It's hard," she admits. "You've got to open up your heart as if he's right in front of you."  Despite how hard divorce and shared custody is for her, Heche seems to taking it in stride and staying positive. "I'm so happy," Heche said. Though, she quickly clarified by adding "I don't think anybody says, 'Yay, divorce. That was a lot of fun.'"

24's Kim Raver has a boy on Tuesday! His name is Leo Kipling Boyer and was born in New York City. "Kim and baby Leo are happy and healthy," says publicist Jennifer Shoucair, to People.  Kim has been married to Manu Boyer for six years and the couple also have a 5-year-old son, Luke West.

Reese and Ryan, Officially Divorced

            The Hollywood couple we thought would be celebrating their 50^th wedding anniversary one day have officially divorced, People.com reports. Reese and Ryan are still working out custody of their two (adorable!) children, Ava and Deacon, as well as financial issues. The question is, now that they are formally split, will they finally reveal their post-breakup romances? Ryan has been linked with a couple co-stars (though nothing officially confirmed) and Reese has been clearly dating Jake Gyllenhaal (Ice cream near his family home in Martha's Vineyard this summer? So a date!) Perhaps they were waiting for this official document before stepping out with their new partners, which makes perfect sense because of their children�??who seem to be the most important part of both their lives. Maybe Reese and Jake will be each other's dates at the premiere of their film �??Rendition�?� next week? I'm keeping my ears perked and eyes peeled�?�

No Plastic Surgery for Me, Says Demi

            You have to love a women who is not only talented and genuinely a nice, normal celb mom, but is also married to a guy 15 years her junior. Demi Moore sat down with The Guardian on October 7^th to talk about everything from her childhood to her own children. I was really drawn to her candid commentary about those plastic surgery rumors. You know which one's I'm talking about�??that Demi shelled out a million dollars for her �??comeback�?� bikini scene in Charlie's Angeles 3, that she has had face-lifts, Botox, collagen, even that she got her knees �??done.�?� What's the truth? Demi is 100% natural, she says, and from seeing her in person, I believe it. Her face actually makes expressions, unlike some Hollywood ladies who regularly get injected with the �??tox, and she even has some (gasp!) wrinkles.

            So how does Demi, at 44, look so fabulous? She told The Guardian, �??After GI Jane I was burnt out. I stopped work and I stopped exercising. I realized I needed to come from the inside and find a sense of peace. I realized being thin did not equal happiness.�?� After the hiatus from crazy diet and exercise, Demi said she found that the happier she was and the less she tried, the better she felt and looked. Instead of getting plastic surgery, Demi goes for regular facials and takes care of her body�??she no longer overworks it. As for those rumors, do they make Demi feel better about herself, you know, because people think she looks so good that she must have had work done? �??No,�?� she said, �??It's irritating. To fight it feels futile because I feel it perpetuates the myth. But really,�?� she continued �??the culmination for me was when there were multiple reports I had my knees done. When I read that, I thought: wow, should I have been worried about my knees?�?� The article reports that Demi invited the author of the piece to actually take a close look at her knees, and what was there? No scars, just a wrinkle.

The Mommywood Weekend Report

Lots of news this morning! Christina Aguilera unofficially announced her pregnancy this weekend by creating a registry at one of L.A.'s hottest baby stores (more on that below). Britney reunited with her mom Lynne Spears, who allegedly came to L.A. to hold an intervention for her daughter. I'm crossing my fingers. P. Diddy has admitted that he has fathered a sixth child after being slapped with a $19 million lawsuit from the little girl's mother. The birth date of the child reveals that he did in fact cheat on ex-girlfriend Kim Porter. My advice? It involves keeping one's trousers zipped. Madden and six months pregnant Nicole Richie are reportedly going down under to Australia for a Good Charlotte concert, Perez Hilton writes on his blog. The buzz was that they planned to get hitched this week in L.A., but it's unlikely they'll marry without their families present. Two babies were born over the weekend: Balthazar Getty and wife welcome a baby girl and CBB reports that Sally Taylor and Dean Bragonier have welcomed a son -- the first grandchild of James Taylor and Carly Simon.
