Time Magazine: Brad + Angelina Most Influential Celebs
Time’s annual list of the 100 most influential people of the year is out and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ranked in at #21, beating Oprah (who ranked #22) and teen sensation Miley Cyrus (who came in at #59). Actor George Clooney wrote an accompanying article about the superstar parents noting, "It is one thing to talk about the problems of the world and quite another to actually try to change things."
George continued to describe Brad and Angie’s work in Pakistan, and how "they have tended to the poor and sick in Africa." He also mentioned how they shelled out $1 million for the victims in Darfur, among other humanitarian efforts. "There are hundreds of people who could be honored for their good work, but I've seen Brad and Angelina firsthand, and their commitment together is truly impressive," he adds.
In a Time reader’s poll of who they think is most influential, three celeb moms and dads made the top 20: Heidi Klum #4, Will Smith #11, and David Beckham #15. No Angie and Brad, oddly enough.
Who do you think is the most influential celeb mom or dad of the year?

Celebumom-Approved Chic Baby Bibs and Kid Aprons
Celebumoms (and dads!) who love to dress their babies and children up in couture clothing finally have two ways to keep those pricey duds stain-free! The Ultra-cool Bib-A-Roo--a full-body bib secured with a ribbon--and the Kidz ApronAll--perfect to protect little artists from paint stains and cooks from food splats—keep kids clean in a stylish way. Denise Richards picks the chic purse design, Chris Noth loves the blue skulls and crossbones and Natasha Henstridge prefers the pirate maps. Other celeb fans include Angela Bassett, Chandra Wilson, Shar Jackson and Angela Kinsey.
The bibs and aprons are made my L’il Darlins, a mother-daughter design team uses only the swankiest of fabrics and designs: think leopards, fairies, paisley, camo and of course monogram for little prepsters. You can check them out at lildarlins.org.

Daily Baby: Kate Moss’ Wedding, Jamie Lynne Expecting a Girl, and Uma Fights Stalker in Court
The UK media is reporting that Kate Moss, mom of Lila Grace, and boyfriend, The Kills’ Jamie Hince, have booked the East London restaurant, Wapping Food, for a September 6th wedding reception! Perez Hilton’s source reports, “They have booked out the entire venue. It will be quite a party. The wedding itself is in the Cotswolds and will be quite intimate. This will be the big event for all their mates.”
Life & Style revealed that Jamie Lynne Spears is going to have a baby girl and that her due date is June 29th. Grandma-to-be Lynne Spears is reportedly delighted that she’s finally going to have a granddaughter. However, an insider overheard Lynne say the baby’s father, Casey, is “a bit nervous about having a daughter.” A close source to the family says, “She has been buying tons of clothes and is going to do the nursery in white, black and yellow.”
Uma Thurman took the stand in Manhattan State Supreme Court last week, calling her experiences with her accused stalker, Jack Jordan, a “nightmare,” the World Entertainment News Network reports. Jack Jordan is accused of trailing and attempting to contact Uma from early 2005 until 2007, as she testified. He faces a year in jail if he’s found guilty of stalking and aggravated harassment charges. The actress said she was “freaked out” when the accused allegedly delivered a card bearing a picture of an open grave and a man standing on the edge of a razor blade. “It was like a nightmare. It was scary,” Uma said.

Lisa Marie Gets Apology for Newspaper’s Rude Comment
A newspaper has been forced to apologize to Lisa Marie Presley, who is pregnant with her third child, over claims she was pursuing a poor diet like her late father, Elvis. Last month, Britain’s Daily Mail published a photo of Presley, without makeup and casually dressed, eating with friends in Los Angeles. The accompanying article said she was “growing just like her dad.”
“My client is deeply upset and offended by this article, especially as it was widely published just as she and her family were meant to be celebrating her happy news,” her legal rep, Simon Smith, said at the time.
People magazine reports that Lisa Marie’s lawyers sued for libel, and the newspaper printed an apology: “On March 4 we published a photograph of Lisa Marie Presley while she was dining with friends. We suggested she might have an unhealthy appetite similar to her late father. We now accept that the suggestion is untrue and apologize to Ms. Presley for any distress caused.”
The paper didn’t just make a rude and insensitive statement about Elvis’ daughter, Mommywood had reported that Lisa Marie felt compelled to reveal her pregnancy secret just days after the article appeared. “I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am, in fact, pregnant,” she wrote on her MySpace blog.
Kudos to Lisa Marie for fighting back against newspapers who find it in their right to criticize women’s bodies.

Boob Maternity Brings Out Celebumoms’ Curves
Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba, Tori Spelling, Minnie Driver, Lisa Marie Presley and Camila Alves (Matthew McConaughey’s girlfriend) got early Mother’s Day gifts this year—clothing from chic line Boob Maternity.
Boob was created in the winter of 1999 when founder Mia Seipel saw her sister nurse her newborn baby in a park in Stockholm, waist bare to the icy northern wind. She decided it should be every mother’s
right to nurse in comfort and in style. The solution was Boob Nursing--a Swedish patented innovation that will make you look great. Being pregnant with her first child gave Mia inspiration to expand into a line of clothing, and so Boob Maternity was born. No doubt, celebumoms like Angelina and Jessica, will enjoy wearing this line during their pregnancy, and afterwards, when they’re nursing,
too.
