The New York Times recently covered an emerging trend in public schools: separating boys and girls in classrooms.

Britney Spears Teaches Dance Class for Kids
Britney Spears has taken up teaching -- that is, teaching dance lessons to children.
She's become a semi-regular instructor at the Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood, CA giving 5-year olds a taste of her moves. "It's just amazing to watch Britney with the kids," one of the moms told People magazine. "[My daughter] won't stop dancing now, that's all she wants to do. Britney has really inspired her."
Tell us what you think. Given her on-going troubles, should Britney Spears be allowed to teach kids?

Airborne settles lawsuit for false advertising and will provide refunds to consumers
Airborne - the herbal supplement created by a Kindergarten teacher and a staple in many households - will pay $23.3 million to settle a class-action lawsuit brought against the company for false advertising.
"There's no credible evidence that what's in Airborne can prevent colds or protect you from a germy environment," said CSPI Senior nutritionist David Schardt. "Airborne is basically on overpriced, run-of-the-mill vitamin pill that's been cleverly, but deceptively, marketed."
Airborne denies any wrongdoing, but agreed to settle the litigation, which means consumers are entitled to refunds...which could mean a check for you moms! For more information about how to file for a refund, visit www.airbornehealthsettlement.com.

Husband Puts Abortion Tablets in Wife’s Food
From the BBC: A baker who put abortion tablets into his wife's breakfast to try to make her lose their baby has been jailed.
Gil Magira, 36, crushed the tablets into his 38-year-old wife Anat Abraham's sandwich, a bowl of cereal and yogurt.
Mrs Abraham suffered pain and bleeding but the child survived unharmed.
Magira, of north London, England, admitted "using an instrument to procure a miscarriage" - the first such charge in 30 years.
Magira was sentenced to five years which was then reduced to three years and nine months to take into account the time he has already spent in custody.
