Real Style with Liz Lange
I never have time to shop at real stores anymore so I tend to buy most of my clothing online. It's been very hit or miss -- some things fit perfectly and others don't, or aren't as advertised, poor quality, etc. Do you have any tips for buying clothes online?
Thanks in advance,
Elaine

Liz Lange says, Hi Elaine!
Thanks so much for writing in. Buying clothing online is no easy feat. Typically you should get used to the idea that if something doesn't work, you might have to return it by mail. Typically, it's a good idea to have a sense of your measurements and compare them the measurement details provided online.
I find the web is best to find additional colors or variations on a style I've bought in a physical store beforehand. It's a riskier way to shop than going to a store and using a fitting room, but if you consider the convenience of doing it all at home, it can definitely be worth it.
