Real Style with Liz Lange
I've got a full schedule of fun -- and romantic! -- things planned for Valentine's Day. I'm hoping you can help me get it together for that occasion. In the morning, I will be Room Mom for my daughter's V-Day party in her kindergarten class. Later, my husband and I are stepping out for dinner at our favorite California Cuisine restaurant. It's stylish but not stuffy. I love red, but I'm wondering, what I can wear beyond the expected red dress. Can you dress me, please?
Thank you!

Liz Lange says, I love pink for Valentine's Day as I think it is so pretty and soft particularly when it’s mixed with black (very Coco Chanel!) as opposed to red and black which can be a bit harsh and 1980s-ish. I love the idea of a pink sexy camisole top with a black pencil skirt, you can throw a cardigan or jacket over it for your daughter's school breakfast and then take it off for a sexier look that night with your husband. During the day you could wear black boots and perhaps for your evening out, you could change to a pair of kitten healed black pumps. Do your make up very suntanned glow-y (I love all the new tinted moisturizers that give you a very natural look) with a pink lips and a very 1960s eye (black liner and black lashes on top with very little on the bottom).
Have fun!
